How To Make Lip Balm At Home: We often forgets about our lips while taking care of our skin, it is very crucial to provide equal nourishment and hydration to lips. Everyone wants their lips to be pink, attractive and smooth as beautiful lips can change your entire look and for that we end up spending a lot of money on chemical-based lip products which are very harsh for our lips as the skin of the lips are super sensitive and delicate and still we do not get many results after using those lip products.

The best way to provide nourishment to your lips is to apply a thick layer of 100% natural lip balm before going to bed and you will wake up with beautiful plum and soft lips.

Today I am going to share how you can make lip balm at your home easily with ingredients that are easily available in your kitchen.


1. BEETROOT LIP BALM:

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:-

  • 1 Small Beetroot
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 2 Capsules of Vitamin-E
  • 1/2 tsp of vaseline

HOW TO MAKE IT:-

  1. Peel of the beetroot and grind it and put the grinded beetroot into a strainer and squeeze out its juice.
  2. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil into the beetroot juice and blend the ingredients together.
  3. Add 2 capsules of vitamin-e and 1/2 tsp of vaseline to the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into an old lip balm container or a tin container.
  5. Put the container into the refrigerator and let it cool for 3-4 hours until it hardens.

2. CHOCOLATE LIP BALM

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:-

  • 1 tsp of almond oil
  • 1 tsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of beeswax pellets

HOW TO MAKE IT:-

  1. Melt the beeswax with the help of a double boiler, in the stove or microwave.
  2. Stir in the cocoa powder until it has blended.
  3. Add almond oil to it while stirring and blend all the ingredients smoothly.
  4. When the mixture cools down, pour the mixture into a tin container.
  5. Put the container in the refrigerator and let it cool for 3-4 hours until it hardens.

3. ROSE LIP BALM

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:-

  • 2 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of beeswax pellets
  • 1 tsp of rose powder
  • 2-3 drops of rose essential oil

HOW TO MAKE IT:-

  1. Melt the beeswax using a double boiler.
  2. Add coconut oil to beeswax and stir it until its blended.
  3. Remove it from the heat and add the rose powder to the mixture and stir it well until there are no lumps.
  4. Add 2 to 3 drops of rose essential oil.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a tin container and put it in the refrigerator.
  6. Let it cool for 3-4 hours.

4. GREEN TEA LIP BALM

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:-

  • 2 Tsp of green tea powder
  • 2 Tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 Tsp of almond oil
  • 1 Tsp of beeswax pellets
  • 2-3 drops of essential oil

HOW TO MAKE IT:-

  1. Melt the beeswax and add coconut oil, almond oil into it and stir it until it is blended.
  2. Remove it from the stove and add green tea powder to the mixture and stir it until no lumps are left.
  3. Add the essential oil and mix it properly.
  4. Pour the mixture into the container and put it in the refrigerator.
  5. Let it cool for 3-4 hours.

5. HONEY LIP BALM

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:-

  • 2 tsp Beeswax pellets
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp castor oil
  • 15 gram cocoa butter

HOW TO MAKE IT:-

  1. Melt beeswax, cocoa butter with the help of double boiler.
  2. Add honey, coconut oil, castor oil and stir it until all ingredients blends smoothly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a tin container and refrigerate it.
  4. Let it cool for 3-4 hours.
